Amateur bass player from Belgium. A few cover bands, and one band that writes its own music. When I get close to a sound off a record, I write down exactly what I did, settings and all.

Who's playing
I'm Maarten. Most people call me Bossie. I'm an amateur, and I mean that literally: I have a day job, and I play because I love it. At the moment that's a few cover bands, one of them Op't Gemakske, plus a band playing original music.
I've loved the Red Hot Chili Peppers for as long as I can remember, and Flea is the reason I picked up a bass at all. Which is why his Blood Sugar Sex Magik tone is the first thing on this site.
